At a time when plays were said to be the cause of plagues and
actors were considered disreputable, Shakespeare's daughter Susanna
heard many a sermon against Actors in the Stratford church.
When the folio edition of his plays was printed in 1623, Susanna
finally had proof that her father might not be a Devil worshipper
after all. In this new play local playwright Diana Howie explores
Susanna's feelings as she tries to sort out the truth of her father
(and her family) for herself.
